(Setlist menu in description!) A for me massively anticipated concert, Meshuggah finally came back to Stockholm to show their metal prowess in all its mathematical glory! I became a huge fan of theirs in 2008, bought all their albums, and have been looking forward to this moment ever since! I managed to record every second song or so since I knew my batteries wouldn't last the whole concert, neither would the memory stick. Setlist: 1. Rational Gaze 2. Bleed (00:13) 3. Electric Red 4. Pravus (08:21, just the beginning) 5. Stengah (08:33) 6. Combustion 7. Lethargica 8. Perpetual Black Second (14:21) 9. Sane (20:28) 10. Straws Pulled at Random (25:20) 11. Soul Burn (33:29) 12. Future Breed Machine (39:30) Recorded April 24 2011 using a Pentax Optio M30. Edited using Magix Music Maker 10 Deluxe and streamed as a 800x600 resolution Sorenson Video 3 Quicktime Movie with 30 fps, 44.1 KHz PCM audio. And I got to meet Haake in person when he was signing drum heads in a store a couple of days later. I asked him a few questions and to summarize, he said that they always make their riffs and songs on the computer (and pretty much never just jam), he rarely counts the beats in his head and goes by feeling and memory instead, and that their new album is coming in six months or so! Axenrot from Opeth was there as well and said they were done recording their next album due in September!
